2009 NORTH POLE EXPRESS This is our most popular, feel-good-all-over, family event. Bring everyone out to take a magical little train ride around our track decorated with sparkling lights and holiday decorations. Warm up inside our museum between rides (oh, yes, the kids will want to ride more than once, and at $1 per ride you can afford it) with reasonably priced hot chocolate, fresh-popped popcorn, made to order hamburgers, or hot dogs. See faces light up as they watch holiday-themed toy/model train layouts go 'round and 'round. Take a stroll down rows of beautifully decorated Christmas trees. And do some shopping in our railroad gift shop stocked with items for big and little train enthusiasts. (Visa and MasterCard now accepted.) Remember that our coaches are open sided, so please dress warmly with hats, scarves, and mittens. Northwest Ohio Railroad Preservation, Inc., located at 11600 County Rd. 99 in Findlay, is easy to find between N. Main St. and I-75 Exit #161 (northeast corner of interchange), just west of Reineke Ford (formerly Findlay Ford). Call 419-423-2995 if you have questions.
